Kate Ceberano 2010

I so much enjoy painting faces and form.

I find the challenge of capturing that split second where the personality of my sitter is there for all to see so rewarding, as long as I get a good likeness that is!

I have enjoyed some success so far in my career as a Portraitist.  I was a finalist in the 2010 Archibald Prize with my portrait of Kate Ceberano.

The following year I was a Finalist in the 2011 Portia Geach Prize with my portrait of Rebecca Gibney.

I have painted many faces and want ot continue doing so.  The opportunity to be involved along with my Fellow Artists at Underground Artspace gives me an opportunity to paint other subjects.  I will be showing some of my Still Life work, abstract and Landscape paintings also.

I look forward to meeting you at Emerge.
